This Manual Handling course is a one day course designed specifically for those who engage and lifting and moving within their work and covers the following topics:

The Abrasive Wheels Course is a half day course suitable for anyone who uses abrasive wheels such as angle grinders and cutting off machines within their work and covers subjects such as safety in the mounting, maintenance and use of the abrasive wheels.

NRSWA (New Roads and Streetwork Act)
The main objectives of the NRSWA course are to gain accreditation to the standards laid down by City & Guilds in line with the New Roads & Street Works Act 1991 for excavation and reinstatement.

IOSH Working Safely
Provided by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, Working Safely is a one day course which enables employees to understand health and safety legislation and how it effects them. It will provide them with the knowledge to review and manage risks effectively within their own organisation so that they can manage and improve health and safety within their own department.
The course will cover the following modules:
- Introducing working safely
- Defining hazard and risk
- Identifying common hazards
- Improving safety performance
- Protecting our environment
Once candidates have attended the course and successfully completed both the written and practical assignments assessments they will receive accreditation either in the form of an IOSH Working Safely Certificate or an IOSH Passport Card.

IOSH Managing Safely
Managing Safely is a course for managers and supervisors in any sector and any organisation. It's designed to give managers all they need to know to help them handle health and safety in their teams. The flexible new high impact programme covers all the main health and safety issues, and includes a session tackling the environment too. The course lasts for 24 hours in total. Managing Safely can be delivered over a full week or on single days or as an evening course and has eight modules:
