Operating from our purpose built premises in South Yorkshire we are located close to the major motorway networks of the M1, M18 and A1.

Eco Training, part of the Eco Group, has been established to provide testing. training and qualification for plant operatives to the new Construction Plant Certification Scheme (CPCS) effective from 1st January 2009.

Our purpose built test centre, located close to the motorway networks for easy access, complies fully with the new regulations and is fully equipped with the latest technology that makes the learning experience one of the very best available.

We accommodate every type of learner from new entrants to experienced workers, operatives and managers as follows:

• CPCS Plant Training and Testing, NVQ qualification to Level 2 (Level 3 in 2009) plus a large variety of Health and Safety Courses
• New entrants to the industry can be trained on site in specific trades and move onto NVQ registration and qualification
• Workers with less than 2 years experience can access CPCS Theory and Practical Testing and progress to NVQ Level 2 by the On Site Assessment and Training Route

Experienced workers who can provide evidence of their experience and employment history with more that 2 years industry involvement will be able to access the Experienced Workers Practical Assessment scheme and - subject to passing theory and practical assessments and providing evidence of competence - will achieve a NVQ Level 2 following a one day in-centre assessment.

All learner requirements are established at the beginning of any training intervention to decide which of the routes above are the most appropriate.
